Slow Read Platform is a digital reading system that reimagines the pace and experience of reading through the perspective of Slow Design.

Slow Design is a human-centred design approach that moves beyond speed- and efficiency-driven production by considering time, sustainability, and emotional connection. Rather than simply making things slower, it is a design philosophy that creates more meaningful experiences by carefully considering the relationships between physical, social, and user contexts throughout the entire process of planning, making, and using.

This platform applies these principles to the reading experience. Instead of encouraging users to consume text quickly, it invites them to pause between sentences, notice the rhythm of reading, and engage with the text more intentionally.
